The Company is divided into four different business areas: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods and Energy and Building Technology. Bosch further invests in its semiconductor business and extends the international supply network.

In this CSA project Bosch coordinates the Generic Semiconductor Data Model together with STMicroelectronics and Infineon. The Generic Semiconductor Data Model is a major part of the Digital Reference Platform and describes typical structures and behaviour of a complex Semiconductor Supply Chain. The Generic Semiconductor Data Model builds the fundament for international B2B collaboration approaches in the growing supply networks. Therefor Bosch focusses the integration and extension of the GDM within the Digital Reference Platform in order to build up a publicly and industrially accepted open de-facto standard for the B2B collaboration in supply networks.

TIB is the German National Library of Science and Technology, Information Centre of the Leibniz Association as well as university library for Leibniz University Hannover.

TIB represents and operates a national research infrastructure facility for the provision of scientific information covering engineering, information technology, mathematics, physics, chemistry and architecture. TIB is member of the German research organization Leibniz Association comprising 94 leading institutes from all areas of science.

TIB preserves and organizes information, data and knowledge in its target domains and provides direct access to these large-scale information spaces through digital services, irrespective of time and place. With its vast collections and innovative services, TIB aims to support the complete life-cycle of research and the digitization of science and technology in general.

As the world's largest specialised information centre in its fields, TIB has outstanding expertise in developing, managing and preserving knowledge, particularly in key areas such as grey literature (e.g. conference and research reports), big research data, vocabularies and ontologies, films and 3D objects, as well as patents and standards.

Some examples of key services include the TIB portal giving access to more than 100 Million documents and research artefacts, the audio-visual portal AV-Portal comprising more than 20.000 scientific videos, license negotiation, Open Access and Digital Preservation offerings, the research data management software Leibniz Data Manager or the collaborative OpenCourseWare authoring platform SlideWiki.

In 2009 TIB founded the DataCite association with meanwhile more than 130 international member organizations and hosts the DataCite headquarter. In addition to serving the scientific communities in its fields, TIB is information service.

Forschungsinstitut für Telekommunikation und Kooperation

Since its foundation as an interdisciplinary research organization closely related to the FernUniversität in Hagen (FUH) in 1991, the work of FTK Research Institute for Telecommunication and Cooperation concentrates on the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

An interdisciplinary team with well-founded research background paired with an expanded network to all important stakeholders in the field of Information and Communication Technologies makes FTK a leading institution for the development and implementation of innovation strategies for business and administration in the ICT area.

The institute is organized as a non-profit membership organization and is pursuing objectives in the public interest. The institute provides research, development and qualification, as well as consulting for companies and institutions. FTKs research, development and knowledge transfer are mainly based on the following topics:

- long term preservation of digital information

- eCommerce, marketing and web development

- eLearning and qualification

- gamification

- digitalization and networking in and of companies (Industry 4.0, collaboration)

- IT-Security.

Institut Mines-Telecom

MT is a public institution dedicated to higher education, research and innovation in engineering and digital technologies. Mines Saint-Etienne (EMSE) is one of the IMT’s graduate schools.

The Department of Manufacturing Sciences and Logistics of the Center in Microelectronics in Provence of EMSE, located in Gardanne, has developed for 15 years numerous research activities in semiconductor manufacturing: Advanced process Control, modeling, simulation and optimization of manufacturing and transport processes, dynamic sampling, optimized scheduling, capacity planning, qualification management, etc

IMT-EMSE should bring its expertise in the understanding and modeling of semiconductor manufacturing systems.

IMT-EMSE will contribute to the various work packages, in particular WP2 (“Requirements Gathering & use case delimitation”) and WP5 (“Evaluation of the Industrial platform and the ontology ecosystem”), and will lead WP7 on “Dissemination, Exploitation and sustainability”.

IMT-EMSE has acquired an international academic recognition in semiconductor manufacturing through the participation to the edition of special issues of international journals and to the committees and the organization of the major conferences in the domain (in particular the Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Conference (ASMC) and the Modeling and Analysis of Semiconductor Manufacturing (MASM) conference.

IMT-EMSE has also developed multiple prototypes to support the industrial implementation of the research in semiconductor manufacturing facilities
